"Sampson" in operational pipelay modus
The vessel, its maritime crew and workforce, is capable of laying pipelines in diameters up to 48 inches OD, with a thruster capacity of 23 MW and a total installed power of 30 MW. A deepwater 3-section stinger is constructed to handle all possible pipe configurations in any waterdepth between shallow and ultra-deep. Furthermore the o/b cranage, with a 200T subsea crane and a 1600T fully revolving Liebherr crane makes this vessel a unique combination vessel for deep water projects.
